ZCCI CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA ON HONORARY DOCTORATE IN AGRIBUSINESS

The Zyaambo Cosmas Community Initiative (ZCCI) joins the nation in congratulating His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema on receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Agribusiness from Mulungushi University — a well-deserved recognition of his leadership in promoting science-driven and modern agriculture in Zambia.

During the conferment ceremony at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, President Hichilema dedicated this honour to the hardworking farmers across our nation. His message emphasised the power of innovation, climate-smart farming, value addition, and strong university–industry research partnerships. These principles are at the heart of building a competitive and wealth-creating agricultural sector.

At ZCCI, we are deeply inspired by this recognition. It affirms a truth we strongly believe in: knowledge, research, and technology are central to transforming rural communities and unlocking opportunities for young people.

The President’s message resonates especially with our mission in Sinazongwe, where empowering youth with the skills and mindset for productive agriculture is essential for sustainable development.
