I was honoured to be part of the official launch of the ISSUP Zambia Chapter, a significant milestone in strengthening Zambia’s response to substance use prevention, treatment, and recovery.

The launch brought together key stakeholders and professionals committed to advancing evidence-based practice, collaboration, and ethical standards in this critical field.

The establishment of ISSUP Zambia marks an important step toward building a skilled, coordinated, and principled workforce capable of effectively addressing substance use challenges within our communities. I commend the leadership and members of ISSUP for their dedication to capacity building, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
